HazriBook

Terms of Service

Last updated 20 August 2026

These terms govern your use of HazriBook, an attendance and payroll app for contractors in the United Arab Emirates, operated by HazriBook, Dubai, UAE ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What HazriBook does

HazriBook records worker attendance, calculates wages and overtime according to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, produces reports and payslips, and generates a Wage Protection System (WPS) salary file in the format prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

HazriBook is a tool, not an adviser. It calculates from the rules and the figures you give it. You remain the employer, and you remain responsible for paying your workers correctly and on time, for the accuracy of the salaries and bank details you enter, and for compliance with UAE labour law. We do not provide legal, accounting or payroll advice.

2. Your account

3. Your workers' data

You enter personal data about your workers — names, document numbers, salaries, bank details, photographs. You confirm that you are entitled to do so, that you have told your workers their attendance and location at punch time are being recorded, and that you will handle their data lawfully. We process it on your behalf as described in the privacy policy.

You may not use HazriBook to monitor anyone outside working hours, and the app is not built to. Location is read only when a punch is made.

4. Plans and payment

Downgrading never deletes anything. If you exceed the free limits and drop to free, every worker and project stays readable and every employed worker is still paid in full by the payroll run. You are simply prevented from adding new ones until you upgrade or reduce. A billing state must never become a wage cut.

5. The WPS file

HazriBook produces a SIF file in the MOHRE format and validates it against the published rules before offering it. You must still check it and submit it through your WPS agent bank yourself. We are not a WPS agent, we do not transmit files to MOHRE or to any bank, and we cannot guarantee that a given bank's portal will accept a given file. Fines or penalties for late or incorrect WPS submission remain yours.

6. Availability

We aim to keep HazriBook available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app is designed to keep working offline: punches are stored on the device and uploaded when a connection returns, so a network outage does not lose attendance.

We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you rely on, or close the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

7. Acceptable use

Do not: enter attendance that did not happen; use HazriBook to conceal underpayment or to produce records you know to be false; attempt to reach another company's data; probe, reverse engineer or overload the service; or resell it without our agreement.

We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used for any of these, and will say why.

8. Ending the agreement

You may close your company account at any time from within the app — see the account deletion page for what happens and when. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, with notice unless the breach makes notice inappropriate.

Wage and attendance records are retained for 24 months after closure, as described in the privacy policy. That retention survives termination by either side.

9. Liability

HazriBook is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, regulatory fines, or wages you did or did not pay.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to account owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use HazriBook after that is acceptance.
